I called ahead before a large Girl Scout event of which my troop was attending and was able to talk to the head chef. I had 3 girls who were attending who cannot have gluten (two celiac, one extremely sensitive). Besides confirming the GF pizza had a great process to avoid cross contamination (separate prep area, oven, tools), the chef then offered to change the fryer oil so they could have GF fries and had someone pickup GF dessert since he said they did not have anything on site to offer. The girls had a great time at the event and instead of feeling left out during food time, they were included and well cared for. They thought the fries were extra good but that could be that it's rare they can get them when out. Everyone felt great afterwards too, so Star Lanes did a great job!
